The Insationable Leviathan

"Bathed in the glow of the eclipsing moon it lay waiting in the trees.
The sun broke free of its lunar binds and released the newborn beast unto a young and fresh world innocent and unaware of the hunger that now walked it's terra.
Consuming its first and closest meal, the monster ingested adjacent fauna that had loomed over smaller insects of the wood.
The shapeless thing had its first feast, and its hunger only grew.
A curious mouse with two eyes was the next to fall prey, fueling the fire that burned within.
Wildfire broke within the cretin, its search for more life to turn to ash continued.
A maimed canine too weak to run saw terror reflected in the demon's eyes, its own visage brilliantly illuminated by the inferno that burned behind the hunter's glassy, ambivalent globes.
Tendons caught between its chipped and hewn teeth, it let out a choked howl soaked in hate. A warning, setting the hammers to the anvils of all living things, taunting, granting them murky hope of escape from the haunting nightmare's waxing want.
A babe and three kin were next, only having turned halfway for escape prior to being erased by the event horizon of that crimson maelstrom of screams, broken bones and marrow.
The cochlear sensation of their swan songs collapsed on deaf ears, their anguished cries reverberated against the hollow confines of the creature's cavernous empty chest. The ethereal echo only a whisper in a void, a chasm blackest which the spawn set out again to fill.
Succeedingly, a community was left with five structures undone, never to be claimed to have belonged to reality, devoured so obsessively by the fiend, not granting permission for even memories to remain.
It tore forth vehemently with unwarranted vengeance on existence, it's purest unmolested violence unleashed upon the crags, the infinite stone only a reminder to this Sisyphus' hopeless nature, a challenge not to be denied.
The sixth turn of that organic planet witnessed the end of times. The behemoth beckoned death as it hung its maw agape, attended by the gravity of a thousand black holes eating each other within its belly. The celestial body of granite, iron, and water departed from present, past and future potentiality. Seconds later Hermes and Ares followed, old gods smote for all time.
Minutes later love and beauty disappeared from the universe, and after was chaos.
A star which would have smoldered for millions of years. A cluster which shone through the vastness of that great vacuum. A galaxy. In what would have been a solotary moment had there been a single second body of mass left in the universe for movement and distance to create time, there was nothing.
Nothing save for that thing... and it's blind desire to consume.
It could have been eons, or possibly instantaneously, there is no way to tell, but one thing is for sure... The universe owned only one option, had only one path, so it started to consume itself.
Folding inside out, perhaps slowly, perhaps not, the cataclysmic cosmic catastrophe erupted the whole of its contents in a sub-sonic supernova, giving birth to the new universe in the completion of its unbound loathing.
And THAT is how the universe happened, kiddo"
